Just when you thought that any further concentration of adorableness in one spot would cause a quantum singularity of cute...

I'm going downstairs to get coffee this morning. On the landing on the 2nd floor, Mekah accosts me with one of her toys in her mouth. She lays it at my feet, look up at me, and mews. OMG SO CUTE! But it gets better!

So, I let her chase it down into the kitchen, and while I'm playing with her, she catches it. Now mind you, she does this all the time, and sometimes she tries to carry it off. She's downright adorable when she does that, her tail goes straight up and she absolutely struts off with it. Well, that's what she does this time.

Then a few minutes later, she comes back, still carrying the toy, still as proud as ever, walks up to me, and lays it at my feet again so I can play with her more, sits down, and looks at me til I pick it up.

She's never done that before...omg, I thought the 'cute' center of my brain was going to hemmorhage.

Some of you gamers out there might have tried WarioWare; this is a game in that spirit. It's called Four Second Fury. Have fun, but don't blame me if you get addicted.

...the deadline to file your federal taxes in Massachusetts is Tuesday, April 18th. This is lucky because my old job is doing their standard "Oh, we'll get right back to you with that" followed by, of course, deafening silence. I'll be calling them again later today once nobody will be awakened by my screaming. Heh.

Almost a year gone and that place is still driving me crazy.

I can also e-file an extension if necessary. It doesn't make me happy, but I can do it.

At least I can rest assured that I'm a better shot than him...
